DNA

We have set up a separate project for Bodman Y DNA on the Familytree DNA website.

https://www.familytreedna.com/public/BODMAN/

If you are a BODMAN, BODENHAM, BODNAM, and any other reasonable spelling variations you are welcome to join the project. Only males have Y-chromosomes,so only male BODMAN can participate. If you are female, and you have a male BODMAN. relative, you can submit a sample for your line. To participate meaningfully, it would be useful if testees are able to share their direct male line ancestry back to the earliest known BODMAN.

The hope is that other researchers – like you – will join our study to help make it a valuable reference point for people studying lines that cross or intersect. Please contact the project leaders if you have any queries or wish to contribute to our shared Bodman history.

All contributions to our Bodman heritage are most welcome. We look forward to hearing from you!
